This client provides QR generation, dynamic links, analytics and related services for users connecting physical materials with digital destinations. The QR code generator gives its users one place to create branded codes, change dynamic destinations and produce unique codes in bulk. It accepts URLs, files and payment details, then returns editable QR codes, exports and tracking information for marketing and operational teams.

Summary

Problem

The client provides QR generation, dynamic links, analytics and related services for users connecting physical materials with digital destinations.

Solution

The solution became a QR code platform for branded creation, editable redirects, bulk mappings, scan tracking and code validation.

Result

The platform is made to reduce manual work in QR code creation, management and tracking.

Client story

The client is a marketing software company from Spain. It provides QR generation, dynamic links, analytics and related services for users connecting physical materials with digital destinations.

Its users create codes for campaigns, products and brochures. They also use them for menus, landing pages and controlled-access workflows.

The request was simple: provide downloads in common formats, track interactions, generate uniquely mapped codes in bulk and connect QR workflows with external services.

The solution was shaped as connected modules for creation, dynamic link management, analytics, bulk generation and validation. The design also left room for payment, ticket, survey and bio-link workflows.

The client asked for

  1. Export PNG, SVG, PDF, ZIP, JSON, CSV or Excel files
  2. Track scans, clicks, submissions and payment status
  3. Generate bulk codes mapped to labels, batches or destinations
  4. Connect payments, analytics, maps, forms, SMS, storage or printers

Why ready-made software did not fit

Ready-made QR and link management platforms cover pieces such as branded codes, dynamic links and scan tracking. The requested workflows also included asset mapping, bulk generation, validation and payment workflows, so the client's combination required a custom platform.

Project overview

The solution was designed around the client's QR generation, dynamic-link and tracking services. The creation screen accepts URLs, text and contact details, then shows a live preview.

To handle branded output, controls were provided for colors and logos. Shape and eye-style settings were also included. toqr (a small JavaScript and TypeScript QR encoder) generates the code, while standard exports return PNG, SVG and PDF files.

Dynamic destinations were kept separate from the printed code. The platform stores QR code IDs with destination URLs, labels and batches, so redirects can be updated without replacing printed materials.

Bulk generation was shaped around CSV labels and destination patterns. Each generated code receives a unique mapping, with JSON results, ZIP downloads and PNG or SVG images for operational use.

Special attention was paid to tracking and validation. Scan activity is shown through counts, dates and locations.

Validation returns statuses such as valid, used, invalid or expired.

CairoSVG converts SVG output into PDF or PNG files.

d3-dsv

Parse CSV and TSV

d3-dsv reads delimiter-separated files used in bulk generation and analytics exports.

PNG, SVG and PDF

Export QR images

These formats carry generated QR codes for digital use and printing.

ZIP and JSON

Package bulk results

ZIP files package generated images, while JSON returns bulk generation results.

Integrations

Analytics platforms

Scan, click and submission information can pass to analytics workflows.

Payment gateways

Payment QR workflows can connect codes with payment transactions.

Maps and forms

QR destinations can open maps, forms and related digital actions.

SMS and storage

QR-linked workflows can connect with SMS services and storage systems.

Printer systems

Generated QR image files can pass to printer workflows.

The result

Branded codes are ready for digital and print use

The creation screen gives the client a focused place to create QR codes for different content types. A live preview keeps the design visible while branding and size settings are applied.

The output supports PNG, SVG and PDF exports, so the same code can move into digital materials or print workflows.

How it works

  1. The content-type selector holds URL, text, contact, Wi-Fi, event, file, payment or business information.
  2. The QR generator creates a code from the entered content and shows it in the live preview.
  3. The export actions provide PNG, SVG and PDF files at the selected size.
  • Brand colors and logos
  • Shape and eye-style controls
  • Live QR preview
Tip: A dynamic destination keeps the printed code usable when the linked page changes.

Dynamic destinations stay manageable

The management screen connects each stored code with its destination URL, labels and batches. Account owners can review the list and keep redirects organized.

The client can update a destination without replacing the printed QR code, while administration controls keep stored code details together.

How it works

  1. The QR code list shows stored QR code IDs, destination URLs, labels and batches.
  2. The platform pairs each code with its destination URL and displays redirect status.
  3. The management module creates or deletes redirect URLs and keeps account controls available.
  • QR code list
  • Batch and label filters
  • Redirect status

Scan activity is ready for campaign review

The analytics screen turns scan activity into tracking information that marketing teams can review by time, location and device. Click and submission metrics add context to the scan count.

CSV or Excel export keeps the tracking data available for reporting and further analysis.

How it works

  1. The platform summarizes scan count, scan date and time, location and device type.
  2. The analytics chart presents click counts and submission counts with the available filters.
  3. The export module returns tracking data as CSV or Excel files.
  • Scan-count summary
  • Location and device breakdown
  • Click and submission metrics
Note: The exported file can include the tracking fields used in the analytics view.

Bulk creation keeps unique mappings together

The bulk screen turns a CSV list and destination pattern into uniquely mapped QR codes. This supports labels, batches and products without preparing each code separately.

How it works

  1. The bulk generator reads the requested quantity, CSV labels and destination URL pattern.
  2. The platform creates unique QR mappings and reports generation status.
  3. The result view returns JSON, while downloads provide ZIP, PNG and SVG files.
  • CSV upload
  • JSON result view
  • ZIP download

Validation gives each scanned code a clear status

The validation screen supports ticket, guest and access checks at the point of scanning. It shows the code identifier, verification details and the related attendance or usage record.

Status badges distinguish valid, used, invalid and expired codes, giving staff a direct result for the current check.

How it works

  1. The camera or scan input reads the scanned QR code.
  2. The platform matches the code with ticket or guest details and checks its status.
  3. The validation result shows the status badge and stores the attendance or usage record.
  • Code identifier
  • Verification details
  • Attendance or usage record

What the solution gives

With this solution, the marketing software company can:

  • Create branded QR codes for many content types
  • Update destinations without replacing printed codes
  • Generate and export uniquely mapped codes in bulk
  • Review scans, clicks and submissions by useful dimensions
  • Validate tickets, guests and controlled-access codes
  • Connect QR workflows with payments, forms, maps, SMS, storage and printers

Could ready-made systems do the job?

Before the design, the task was compared with ready-made products by their own descriptions.

By the public descriptions of the products and their category.

The main parts of the task exist in ready-made QR and link management products. A ready-made product is enough when only branded generation, dynamic links or basic tracking is needed.

This client needed its own software because the requested mappings, validation, external connections and file outputs had to follow one business workflow. A custom platform brings these requested functions together for the client's services.

In the end

In the end, the result was a QR code workspace made to take manual work out of the path from code creation to dynamic links, analytics and validation.
